At the beginning of 2022, our company received an exciting piece of good news—due to our outstanding contributions to the Lenovo Wuhan Base APS Intelligent Production Scheduling Project, the ALSI Dalian APS R&D Team was honored by Lenovo DIBG Group with the prestigious title of "2020-2021 MBG APS Project (Phase II) Best Development Team."

The Lenovo Wuhan Base APS Intelligent Production Scheduling Project was recognized as one of the "Top Ten Big Data Application Cases in Hubei Province in 2021" by the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Hubei Province. Winning this honor in such a project fully demonstrates the strength of the ALSI Dalian APS R&D Team.
Empowering Business with Technology, Driving Industry 4.0, and Building Smart Factories
As a key strategic base for Lenovo's mobile business, the Wuhan Industrial Base primarily manufactures smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. Since its establishment in 2012, by the end of November 2021, it had accumulated an industrial output value of over RMB 300 billion, achieved exports exceeding USD 33 billion, and ranked first in Hubei Province's export volume for six consecutive years. The enormous market demand requires the Wuhan Industrial Base to enhance its intelligent production management level, build a smart factory, optimize production efficiency, and further increase capacity through upgraded intelligent management systems. The APS intelligent production scheduling system can integrate multi-dimensional information such as human resources, equipment resources, order demand, inventory, and shipping more quickly and accurately, guiding production, proactively assessing risks for management, and providing more accurate recommendations for capacity expansion or reduction.
ALSI Dalian R&D Team leveraged over three decades of R&D experience and strong technical capabilities to help Lenovo's Wuhan Base phone factory build an APS intelligent production scheduling system from scratch. Through optimal planning and scheduling, the team reduced the manual scheduling process, which previously took two weeks, to less than 30 minutes, while significantly improving scheduling accuracy. This helped the enterprise enhance production efficiency, reduce management costs, and achieve refined flexible production. Additionally, the team focused on improving and enhancing user interactivity, ultimately delivering a system interface that far exceeded customer expectations, earning widespread recognition from users.
The leadership of the Wuhan factory sent a special letter of appreciation to our company, stating, "The production scheduling plan is both the 'brain' and the 'telescope' and 'baton' of the factory, and APS enables our brain to operate faster while allowing us to see farther and more precisely!"

Delivering Quality Services: Thinking Ahead to Exceed Customer Expectations
Putting customers first is the service philosophy upheld by the team members. Standing from the customer's perspective, they consider the customer's business and interests practically, even "thinking one step ahead"—thinking more broadly and in greater detail, which reflects their service attitude.
During the development of the APS system for Lenovo's Wuhan Base in Phase I, the team, drawing on years of experience serving large international enterprises, proposed solutions to clients including multi-language system support (globalization solution), ag-grid (user operation improvement solution), Kafka (data communication solution), transparent gateway (Oracle and MySQL data interaction solution), and microservices (business separation solution). These proposals enabled the completed Phase II APS system to seamlessly integrate with Lenovo's global supply chain.
During the service period, affected by the pandemic, team members underwent a 28-day quarantine in Wuhan. However, they always prioritized customer needs, never allowing objective factors to compromise work quality or project progress. Actively overcoming numerous difficulties, they ultimately delivered the project on time with high quality and quantity, earning high praise from the customer.

This award marks a new achievement for ALSI Dalian in the field of APS R&D. We have withstood the test of practice, with our technical capabilities and service quality recognized by customers, and once again accumulated valuable successful experience.
