Goal First, ALSI Advances Through Exploration

ALSI upholds the DNA of lean production from Japanese enterprises, combining over 30 years of practice across seven factories of the Alps Alpine Group. We focus on the manufacturing site, delve deep into the front lines of the factory, and possess refined technical expertise and on-site service experience in the field of smart manufacturing. We have solved manufacturing challenges for thousands of factories worldwide. As a professional and mature smart manufacturing supplier, ALSI has two key insights regarding the implementation of smart manufacturing:

First: Clarify the Objective.

To date, there are countless tools and systems for smart manufacturing. In the past, the approach was to start with the tools and systems, considering what could be done with them. After failing with such an approach, ALSI reflected and realized that smart manufacturing implementation first requires clarifying the objective. Tools and systems on the market offer various functions; if we try to do everything, it becomes "wasteful management." Therefore, the most important thing to determine is: "What is the goal to be achieved by using these tools and systems?" and "What results should they deliver?"

Second: Tools and Systems Must Be Accepted by the Manufacturing Site.

Of course, even if tools and systems are introduced, they cannot be effective if the manufacturing site cannot use them proficiently. Additionally, considering that systems like visualization tools cannot be fully validated in advance, a factory that can accept and skillfully use tools and systems at the manufacturing site must meet the following four points:

  1. Low Cost: Start with low costs;
  2. Iterate Quickly: Move forward in small steps;
  3. Retrofit: Adapt existing old equipment;
  4. Update: Adjust and update based on the actual site conditions.

Based on these insights, ALSI has implemented and advanced the development of visualization and digital systems, such as the APS Advanced Planning and Scheduling System, Intelligent Production Equipment Management Solutions, ALSI Mold Lifecycle Management System, and ALSI Power Monitoring System.

Down-to-Earth, Eyes on the Horizon

 "Continuously" Forge "Enduring Manufacturing Capabilities"

The mission set by ALSI's smart manufacturing initiatives is: Stand firm, look to the future, and "continuously" polish "sustainable manufacturing capabilities," keeping feet on the ground and eyes on the stars. This sharing takes the perspective of the foundational aspects of the intelligentization process. In the journey of digitalization, it is crucial for enterprises to stand firm. Drawing an overall vision of the future while steadfastly moving forward step by step, persisting and spiraling upward—this spirit is a hallmark of ALSI and one of its core strengths.

As a professional digital solution and service provider in the industry, ALSI will uphold the principles of lean production, focus on the manufacturing site, and create value jointly with customers. Always aiming to be a pragmatic lean expert, we will deeply cultivate the manufacturing front line, continuously innovate and refine our solutions, and empower manufacturing enterprises in their transformation and upgrade.
