The key is to connect material information throughout the entire process, so that supply and demand can be accurately matched, avoiding production stoppages due to material shortage.The Huipai Production Scheduling System first deeply integrates with the enterprise's Bill of Materials (BOM), inventory management, procurement management, and other systems to comprehensively collect key information—gathering all important data—such as the specific models of materials at each product level, the quantity required for each step, substitutable materials, current inventory levels, quantities on order but not yet delivered, and expected arrival dates. Then, based on the production plan and the timing of each process, the system backward calculates when each material is needed, generating a detailed material requirements plan that specifies the latest arrival time for each material to ensure seamless alignment with the production schedule.
Meanwhile, the Production Scheduling System monitors changes in material inventory and the fulfillment of purchase orders in real time. Once it detects a potential shortage of a certain material, it issues an early warning and coordinates with the procurement department to expedite emergency replenishment or arrange for the use of substitute materials.
