On May 22, Alps Alpine (abbreviated as ALAP) and Sirun Tianlang held a high-level meeting at Sirun Tianlang (Wuxi). The two parties had in-depth exchanges on the development trends of the IoV (Internet of Vehicles) and vehicle-infrastructure cooperation, as well as their collaborative business status. The meeting was attended by Alps Alpine President Hideo Izumi, Sirun Tianlang Chairman Gao Danfeng, and senior commercial and technical executives from both sides.

As an important partner of Alps Alpine in the IoV field, Sirun Tianlang has jointly participated in the C-V2X New Four-Cross large-scale industry interoperability activities multiple times. The two sides have engaged in very close cooperation on multiple products such as 5G-V2X, 4G-V2X, and V2X Only.

Through this high-level meeting, while deepening the existing cooperation, both parties also discussed more potential cooperation opportunities such as digital keys, striving to create new business in broader areas and achieve win-win results.

About Alps Alpine

Since its founding in 1948, Alps Alpine has been dedicated to the development and manufacturing of electronic components, promoting globally based on communication technology, electromagnetic devices, electronic components, IT equipment, and automotive electronics. In recent years, in response to challenges in new markets and fields, and to meet the demands of digital device evolution and automotive electrification, the company has been providing new value from electronic components to system products that satisfy various customer needs.

In the IoV field, Alps Alpine offers a series of high-cost-performance and professional automotive-grade core module products, ranging from integrated AP all-in-one (All-in-One) C-V2X modules to sub-meter satellite navigation GNSS modules that do not require RTK, as well as adaptive BDA (Bi-Directional Amplifier) modules that solve C-V2X system line loss compensation.

2. GNSS Sub-meter Navigation Module

ALPSALPINE is the world's first to achieve a high-precision positioning module that does not require position correction information (RTK) and has positioning accuracy of 50cm/α, 100cm/2α (see Figure 3). Since RTK information is not required and it can fully meet the positioning accuracy requirements of C-V2X, relevant costs are saved, achieving the optimal cost performance of the overall IoV solution.

   (Bi-Directional Amplifier)

Communication distance is an important indicator of IoV effectiveness, and communication distance is directly related to the output power of the antenna and the system's requirement for input signal strength. Currently, the line loss between the T-BOX and antenna in most vehicle models has become a major obstacle to the performance of C-V2X. ALPSALPINE's BDA module effectively solves this problem. Moreover, based on its self-developed algorithm, it does not require external control signals and can cover various solutions without distinction, significantly reducing the resource consumption caused by line loss for customers, and ensuring the communication effect after C-V2X deployment.
