In the early 1980s, leaders from China's automotive industry visited Japan for study tours and introduced the initial idea of lean production—zero inventory. However, due to various reasons, the concept was not implemented at that time. Today, the Lean Production philosophy has been adopted by Chinese enterprises and has experienced rapid growth.
