Lean Production must never be entirely delegated to management. Because lean production emphasizes that the shop floor is a living organism, it cannot rely solely on management to handle all practical operations and actions. Enterprises aiming to implement Lean Production should not treat management as the commander on the shop floor. Many issues cannot be resolved purely through remote direction and past experience; instead, frontline employees must devise their own solutions.
