Production Management System is an information database developed for production applications in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises. It includes an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), a Distributed Numerical Control (DNC) system for intelligent networking of production equipment and workstations, and a Machine Data Collection and Analysis (MDC) system for production data and equipment status. Due to varying production application processes across different enterprises, the Production Management System may also differ from one company to another. Among these, ERP and MES play a crucial role in the overall production management system.
