From June 23 to June 30, 2024, e-works successfully organized the 8th Japan Lean Manufacturing Study Tour in 2024. Led personally by Dr. Huang Pei, CEO of e-works, this in-depth exploration of lean manufacturing brought together over 20 senior executives from well-known enterprises to visit nine benchmark factories. Through factory tours, technical lectures, and internal seminars, the delegation gained a deep understanding of how Japanese manufacturing enterprises apply lean manufacturing, flexible automation, and human-machine collaboration. They also experienced the people-centric production philosophy and the focused, persistent corporate culture of Japanese companies.
As a globally leading electronic component manufacturer, Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ALPSALPINE) attracted the lean manufacturing team for knowledge and experience sharing with its outstanding lean production system and innovative practices.

ALPSALPINE embodies the philosophy of "people-centricity, promoting collaboration, and stimulating innovation" everywhere. The delegation also visited the ALPSALPINE Furukawa No. 2 Factory, which serves as the main hub for the production of automotive and mobile phone electronic components and is ALPSALPINE's newest factory in Japan. Guided by staff, the delegation toured the molding, painting, and assembly processes of the modules. ALPSALPINE achieves continuous improvement and human collaboration through self-developed collaborative robots, with particular emphasis on the application of visual management, including identity recognition based on hat colors and badge labels, which effectively prevents operational errors and confusion; through the Andon system, it achieves a clear overview of production status.
