Recently, Alps Intelligent Manufacturing (hereinafter referred to as "Alps") officially signed a contract with Jiangsu Innove Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Innove"). Leveraging the small, fast, lightweight, and accurate advantages of Alps' data collection, equipment status monitoring, and Andon system, they achieved rapid construction of a visualized, collaborative, and intelligent production site, helping Innove complete its digital transformation.

Innove is an enterprise specialized in the R&D, production, and sales of urea-formaldehyde toilet seats and other products, with its products exported to Germany, Denmark, Italy, France, and other countries and regions. However, with changes in the market and intensified competition, Innove also faces certain challenges and difficulties, urgently requiring digital transformation to improve its production management level and market competitiveness.

Innove currently faces management challenges such as high difficulty in data collection due to the coexistence of old and new equipment, long timeliness and heavy workload of manual data entry, and slow response to equipment faults. These issues not only affect production efficiency and quality but also increase production costs and risks, restricting the company's development and innovation. After extensive investigation and comparison, Innove ultimately chose Alps as its partner for digital transformation, hoping to leverage its advanced smart factory solutions to quickly upgrade and optimize the production site.

To solve these difficulties, Alps built a small, fast, lightweight, and accurate digital solution covering the entire production process for Innove, and provided comprehensive technical and after-sales service support. It took only 1.5 days to complete the implementation of all projects. On the day of go-live, Innove's production manager could intuitively see the output and equipment status from the system, immediately expressing great satisfaction with the collaboration with Alps and promptly finalizing matters related to subsequent cooperation.

First, through the SS-10 series button device (Agile Button) and alarm wristband, automatic alarm, precise notification, and assignment of responsibility for equipment abnormality issues are achieved. This replaces the previous manual shouting or phone notification when problems were found, enabling rapid detection and handling of production anomalies and reducing the cost of equipment downtime.

Second, through the data acquisition system, data from equipment is collected, breaking down barriers of equipment age/model, and achieving low-cost collection of output and equipment status data, providing data support for managers to control output progress, equipment status, and formulate production plans in real time.

Third, through the data statistics function of the equipment status monitoring system and Andon system, the causes of downtime affecting equipment availability are automatically analyzed, providing support for management decisions to improve overall equipment utilization.

Small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises currently face many difficulties, requiring them to undergo digital transformation, using intelligent technology and data-driven approaches to improve the level and effect of production management, enhance product quality and value, increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, and create more business opportunities and value. Alps provides a small, fast, lightweight, and accurate pathway and method for digital transformation for small and medium-sized manufacturers, helping them realize the dream of a smart factory and move toward a future of intelligent manufacturing. The successful cooperation between Alps and Innove is a typical case. Let us look forward to more small and medium-sized manufacturers learning from this, accelerating the pace of digital transformation, and achieving high-quality development in manufacturing.
